I am glad that Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" is once again a partner of one of the most prestigious programming contests. I am proud of the achievements of the teachers and the students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics because of the solid academic education in the field of information technologies.

A key factor for this success is for interest in the natural sciences in general and information technologies to be stimulated from an early age. Therefore, I welcome the consistent and long-standing work of Musala Soft with the youngest talents and wish the competitors to successfully solve the algorithmic challenges in CodeIT.

Dear students, young people, captivated by the magic of programming,

I welcome you in the beginning of the 22nd edition of the International programming contest CodeIT, and I wish you a lot of unforgettable moments, countless smiles and at least one dream come true for each contestant!

Today the world is facing a series of challenges; challenges which can be more easily overcome if we use the power of the human mind and the resources of our civilization. In this, software engineers are in the forefront of people who have to take care of the common good. I believe that many of you have already realized that personal happiness and prosperity go hand in hand with the development of society. In order to be truly successful and to live in a calm and prospering world, we need to take care not only for ourselves, but for everyone around us. I sincerely hope that each of you can make the world a better place through the power of your mind, but also with the morale and spirit you carry.

Congratulations to Musala Soft's team, whose wonderful initiatives are all around us! CodeIT is just the right example for an amazing initiative, looking forward to the future and a better tomorrow!

With all my heart, I wish everyone success!
