Patron of the round - Prof. Dr. Sotir Sotirov, Sonia Dimova and Dimitrina Todorova
Prof. Sotirov graduated the Technical University – Sofia with a Master’s degree in Electronics in 1995 and defended a doctorate in Informatics in 2006 at the University “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov” – Burgas. At the same university he began working in 1997 as a Chief of the “Electrical engineering and Electronics” department and after that he took over the “Electrical engineering, Electronics and Computer technology” department, became an organizer of “Electronic forms of education” and Chief of the “Computer systems and technologies” department. Between 2012 and 2015 he was a deputy-dean on the educational activities at the Faculty of Technical science, and from 2013 is Chief of the “Intelligent Systems” laboratory. As of 2015 he is a deputy-rector on international collaboration and post-graduation qualification.
Sonya Dimova has graduated from the mathematics high school “Acad. Nikola Obreshkov” in Burgas, and then the Burgas Free University with a Bachelor’s degree in Informatics and a Master’s degree in Business Information Technologies. In 2005 she started teaching Information Technologies at the mathematics high school. In 2016 she became the deputy headmistress for educational activity, and since 2021 she has been employed as the high school’s headmistress. Sonya Dimova has taken part in many Erasmus+ projects, as well as other national programmes.
Dimitrina Todorova was born on May 31st 1969 in Elhovo. She graduated the Professional School of Building Architecture and Geodesy “Kolio Ficheto” in Burgas and continued her education at the Shumen University "Bishop Konstantin of Preslav" with a major in “Informatics and Mathematics”. After that she became a mathematics and informatics teacher at the Trade High school in Burgas and in 2006 she started teaching at the English language school in Burgas. In 2018 Dimitrina Todorova became the principle of the newfound Vocational School of Computer Programming and Innovation, Burgas.
