Lately I've been thinking that most of the contestants were not even born when this competition first took place, and now I realize that this also applies to some members of the organizing committee as well. Frankly, CodeIT is now an established competition with traditions, which has been uniting contestants from different ages and nationalities for many years in a row.
I would like to thank Musala Soft for organizing this feast of competitive informatics every year.
It is an honor for the "A&B" School to be a patron of the next round of the competition. "A&B" School has had its students compete in it since the very first seasons, we have won multiple times, and we have taken part in organizing it as well.
We wholeheartedly wish luck to all contestants! Tackle the problems successfully, but most importantly – have fun!

The problems will surely be tough, but solving easy ones isn’t interesting 😊. The participation in this round will most certainly be an important step in the way for the young folks to becoming highly qualified software engineers, and for the members of Bulgaria's national teams during the summer international competitions in Informatics – an opportunity to check their level of preparation. In this regard, the organizers from Musala Soft deserve our most sincere gratitude and appreciation for supporting the development of young talents in Informatics through all these years.

The School of Mathematics and Informatics "A&B" was founded on 01.04.1998 in Shumen, Bulgaria with the purpose of supporting the extracurricular preparation of students from the 2nd to 12th grade in Mathematics, Informatics and Information Technologies. In 2018 it celebrated its 20th anniversary. More than 1,800 adults and 2,000 children have completed various courses in the school. A science-based system for initial and specialised computer training has been developed and the results of its implementation have been presented and reviewed at national scientific forums. Over the years "A&B" School graduates have earned a total of 51 gold, 44 silver and 49 bronze medals from national competitions; 15 gold, 34 silver and 26 bronze medals from international competitions.
Rusko Shikov was born in Yambol. In 1972 he graduated from the Mathematics class in the "Vasil Levski" high school in Yambol. The same year he became a member of the Bulgarian national team in Mathematics at the International Olympiad in Mathematics in Torun, Poland, where he won a bronze medal. He completed his undergraduate studies in 1979 at the Kharkiv National University in Kharkiv, Ukraine, majoring in Mathematical Physics. Between 1979 and 1992 he was working as a designer and developer of systems for managing technical processes at "Yambolen" JSC, Yambol. Since 1993 he has been an owner and manager of companies in the field of technological process automation. Currently he is the co-owner/manager of OPCO Sys Ltd., Yambol. In 1982 he founded an academy for Informatics and competitive programming at the Mathematics High School "Atanas Radev" in Yambol, which later became known as the Shikovi IT School. Rusko Shikov is the head of the school, where he also teaches to this day. Over the years he has been a member of the National Informatics Commission, as well as a teacher and a head coach for the national Informatics team at several international competitions.
