One of the special prizes for the participants in the 3rd round of the 20th anniversary season of the programming contest CodeIT will be sent to Belgium.
The marathon, which started on the 19th of January, has ended on the 9th of February and in it took part competitors from Bulgaria, Serbia, Macedonia, Croatia and Belgium. Almost all of them had a non-zero result and will receive a special CodeIT t-shirt with this year’s mascot – the mystical kuker.
The draw for the special prizes by Asbis Bulgaria – official distributer of Cougar Gaming and Prestigio, decided that one of them will travel to the city of Kortrijk, from where Jan Quan participated in the round. Besides the special prize – a PC mouse, Jan will receive also a t-shirt, because he is one of the participants with a non-zero result.
The other special prize by Asbis Bulgaria – a keyboard, went to Deniz Poturliev from Pleven, who has achieved one of the Top 20 results in the round.
The draw has determined that a sweatshirt with the CodeIT logo will go to Ivan Iliev from Sofia.
Dusko Obradovic had the highest result in the marathon, earning 91.663 points. A total of five Bulgarian competitors were ranked in the Top 10 with Antani Gospodinov from Yambol ranking the higest of them – 4th with 78.228 points.
10 participants took part in the in the parallel junior’s standings with another Serbian representative taking first place – Nemanja Majski with 65.703 points.
The 4th round of this year’s 20th edition of CodeIT will be a Sprint and will be held on the 22nd of February under the patronage of COR MEM Prof. Hristo Beloev, DTSc DHC mult., Rector of the "Angel Kanchev" University of Ruse, and Mrs. Galina Bobeva, principle of the “Baba Tonka” mathematics high school in Ruse.
