Additional information about CodeIT:
CodeIT (https://codeit.bg/) is one of the oldest programming contests in the world and the most elite private informatics competition, organized by Musala Soft since the company's inception in 2000.
CodeIT has no age restrictions but the main group of participants are students with an interest in algorithms and competitive programming — many of whom are medalists from international Olympiads. The competition takes place annually in six online rounds followed by a final onsite round, in partnership with companies, non-governmental organizations, IT associations, and leading educational institutions in Bulgaria. The Honorary Chairman of the jury is Krasimir Manev, President of the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) for 2014–2017 and the first president of the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics (eJOI).
As per the rules, the competition consists of six preliminary online rounds, followed by an onsite final in Sofia. The top-performing competitors from the preliminary rounds — 12 finalists from the overall ranking and 5 from the junior ranking (up to 8th grade) — advance to the final.
