Boris Mihov is the winner of the 24th season of the international programming competition CodeIT, organized by Musala Soft, part of Qinshift. The top talents who made it to this year's competition final were awarded in a ceremony with the honorable presence of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev.

"Programming and informatics have established themselves as a universal language that unites curious and forward-thinking individuals committed to the future of the world. Therefore, our country must encourage the aspirations of our programmers, who contribute to the improvement of various areas of life. It is with responsibility and pleasure that the presidential institution joins you in support with the message that we need your drive." - President Rumen Radev shared in his address to the guests, as the competition's patron.

This year, talents from 34 locations in 5 countries (Bulgaria, Serbia, Republic of North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia), with 20 of them being in Bulgaria, participated in CodeIT and tested their knowledge. This is evidence of the country's sustainable traditions in informatics. An interesting fact is that this year marked the first time in the competition's history that a father and son from Bulgaria competed together. And for many years, a teacher from Sombor, Serbia - Dushko Obradovich, has been competing alongside his students.

"A successful life means raising a happy child and doing good deeds that leave a positive mark even after you're gone. CodeIT is one such deed. Thank you to everyone involved throughout the nearly quarter-century history of the CodeIT community." - shared Elena Marinova, co-founder of Musala Soft and member of the Advisory Board of Qinshift.

"Musala Soft, a pillar of Qinshift’s excellence, has consistently demonstrated outstanding business achievements and a strong commitment to nurturing the IT community in Bulgaria and beyond. As we present the awards at CodeIT, we do so with immense pride in our heritage and with a firm commitment to maintaining the legacy that has brought us here. To all our finalists, your dedication and hard work have brought you to this moment. Congratulations on your achievements. We are excited to see how you will continue to push boundaries and innovate in the years to come." - shared Marina Domazetovska, Global Head of Communications at Qinshift.

Oleksandr Kulkov was the IT guru of the 2023/2024 season. With his extensive experience as a CodeForces grandmaster and organizer of the competitive student camp in Osijek, Croatia, he delivered a special lecture to inspire the finalists.
