Fifth round Marathon

Prof. Sotir Sotirov graduated from the Technical University of Sofia in 1995 with a major in "Electronics" and obtained a Master’s degree. In 2006, he defended his doctoral thesis in "Informatics" at the University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov" - Burgas. He began working at the same university in 1997 as the Head of the Department of "Electrical Engineering and Electronics". Subsequently, he took over the Department of "Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and Computer Technology", became an organizer of "Electronic Forms of Education", and led the Department of "Computer Systems and Technologies". Between 2012 and 2015, he served as the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs at the Faculty of Technical Sciences. Since 2013, he has been the head of the laboratory for "Intelligent Systems" at the university. Since 2015, he has held the position of Deputy Rector for International Cooperation and Postgraduate Qualification.

Dimitrina Todorova was born on 31 of May, 1969, in the town of Elhovo. She graduated from the Technical School of Construction "Kolyo Ficheto" in Burgas, and she obtained her higher education in the field of "Mathematics and Informatics" at Shumen University "Bishop Konstantin Preslavski". Afterward, she taught mathematics and informatics at the High School of Commerce, and in 2006, she began teaching at the English Language High School "Geo Milev". In 2018, she became the director of the newly opened Vocational High School for Computer Programming and Innovations in Burgas.
