Five Bulgarian contestants in Top 10 after the first round

Five competitors from Bulgaria have earned a sport in the Top 10 after the first round of the annual 20th edition of CodeIT.

 

The marathon, which started on October 19th, was completed on the 9th of November with participants from Bulgaria, Serbia, Macedonia, Armenia, Croatia and Ukraine taking part in it. A large number of them got a non-zero result and will receive a CodeIT t-shirt.

 

The highest ranked Bulgarian was Andon Todorov from Sofia who stands in 3rd place with 66.250 points. The highest score in the first round belongs to Duško Obradovič from Serbia, who got 90.369 points.

 

In the parallel Junior’s standings where 11 competitors, with the 1st place being taken by another Serbian – Nemanja Majski with 57.664 points. Top 3 is completed by two Bulgarian participants – Deyan Hadzhi-Manich and Yulian Slavchev with 31.654 and 27.674 points, respectively.

 

With a random draw between all participants, three were picked up to receive a CodeIT sweatshirt and a keyboard and a mouse by Asbis Bulgaria – official distributer of Cougar Games and Prestigio. The luck was with Ilian Zankinski who will get the sweatshirt, as well as Blagojce Pavleski and Uros Ogrizovic, who will receive the presents from Asbis.

 

The second round will be a “Sprint” and will be held on December 7th under the patronage of Prof. Eng. PhD Dsc Ivan Kralov – Rector of The Technical University of Sofia, Prof. Eng. PhD Daniela Gotseva – Dean of The Faculty of computer systems and technologies in The Technical University and Ivaylo Ushagelov – principle of The National Gymnasium of Natural Sciences and Mathematics "Academician Lyubomir Chakalov".
